There’s no sound coming out of my Spark GO

Spark GO - No Sound Output

1 - Collect information

Use macro: #Spark GO::I/O Issue Diagnosis

Questions in the macro:

  1. Is the Spark GO powering up?  *If you've attempted to charge it for more than 15 minutes and it still isn't powering up, please skip the remaining questions below.

2. Try using a different guitar and instrument cable to check if the Spark GO produces sound properly. If you're using an acoustic guitar with a pickup or a guitar with active pickups, ensure the battery is fully charged. Does it help?

  1. Do all five LEDs on the Spark amp blink constantly?

  2. Does the issue occur after firmware update?

  3. Is there any sound from Bluetooth/USB/Aux In audio playback?

2 - Diagnose

Follow the steps to diagnose the issue:

  1. Is the Spark GO powering up?  Yes -> go to step 2 No -> DOA (US) - Check Basecamp for updates, DOA (Non-US), RMA (US) - Check Basecamp for updates , RMA (Non-US), OOW (US - Everything else), OOW (Non-US) Reason: Battery Problem

  2. Try using a different guitar and instrument cable to check if the Spark GO produces sound properly. If you're using an acoustic guitar with a pickup or a guitar with active pickups, ensure the battery is fully charged.Does it help?

    Yes -> Case close (user error).

    No -> go to step 3

  3. Do all five LEDs blink constantly?

    Yes -> Spark GO Firmware Troubleshooting

    No -> go to step 4

  4. Does the issue occur after firmware update?

    Yes -> Spark GO Firmware Troubleshooting

    No -> go to step 5

  5. Is there any sound from Bluetooth / USB / Aux In audio playback?

    Yes -> DOA (US) - Check Basecamp for updates, DOA (Non-US), RMA (US) - Check Basecamp for updates , RMA (Non-US), OOW (US - Everything else), OOW (Non-US) Reason: No Guitar Input

    No -> DOA (US) - Check Basecamp for updates, DOA (Non-US), RMA (US) - Check Basecamp for updates , RMA (Non-US), OOW (US - Everything else), OOW (Non-US) Reason: No Sound from any Output
